N.J. man exchanged nude photos, sexual videos with underage Pa. girl, authorities say

A Burlington County man was arrested after investigators said he exchanged nude photos and sexually explicit videos with an underage girl in Pennsylvania he met online, officials said Friday.
Fredderico Soda, 29, of Tabernacle was charged with second-degree charges of distributing child sexual abuse material, possession with intent to distribute child sexual abuse material and impairing the morals of a child, authorities said.
He was also charged with two third-degree counts of possession of child sexual abuse material and obscenity to a minor, according to authorities.
An investigation began earlier this year when the Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office received information on Soda’s alleged online activity from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children as well as information from the Palmer Township Police Department in Northampton County, Pennsylvania.
Palmer Township police told prosecutors that they had been contacted by the parents of a the victim concerning their daughter’s online interaction with Soda, officials said.
During the investigation, Soda continued interacting and exchanging photos with the girl after he learned she was a minor, authorities said.
Soda had not met the girl in person yet, but was planning to meet her, according to authorities.
Soda’s electronic devices will be examined by the Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office High-Tech Crimes Unit, officials said.
An attorney for Soda was not listed in court records Friday.
Soda is being held at the Burlington County Jail pending a detention hearing, authorities said.
